✨ What makes it special
Every garment gets its own live link on Prelo, so you always know the exact selling price.
Payments are simple: your share is transferred directly into your account within 7 days of the garment being sold.
Want to make it extra meaningful? You can choose to donate your share to a charity of your choice 💛
What To Send
Please make sure the clothes you send are:

Clean & freshly washed

In good wearable condition

Not damaged, stained, heavily worn out, or unsellable
As of now, we’re unable to process:

Kids’ clothes

Women’s suits

Lehengas
The clothes sent to us need to be resold and loved by someone else again ✨
So if you personally feel something may not realistically find a second home, we strongly request that you do not send it to us.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to return rejected items, and unsuitable lots create a very difficult operational burden for our small team 💛
Please also do not send clothes that are meant purely for donation.
If you feel something is more appropriate for donation, we genuinely encourage you to donate it directly or even help it find a new home yourself 🌿
Prelo is a thrift and resale platform — not a donation centre. Routing donation clothes through us only creates extra logistics, extra shipping, extra handling, and unnecessary environmental impact.
Our entire ethos is built around keeping clothes away from landfills and extending the life of garments as much as possible through resale, reuse, upcycling, donation, and finally recycling only when absolutely necessary ♻️
How It Works
Before sending anything, please fill out our waitlist form:
Once the form is filled, we’ll add you to the waitlist. 💛
After your turn comes up, you’ll receive an invite code along with instructions on how to send your clothes to us.
Please make sure your invite code is clearly mentioned on the package.
Any clothes sent without a valid invite code will not be our responsibility, as we won’t be able to process them.
🔑 Earnings

You receive 40% of the selling price, Prelo keeps 60%

For donations: we keep 50% and 50% goes to the charity you choose (if you are giving, we want to give with you)
👗 Garment Quality
If a piece is valued below ₹400, we unfortunately can’t share proceeds because the margins become too small to operate sustainably.
If the garment is torn, stained, or not in wearable condition, we recycle or rework it instead (no earnings in that case).
Everything else is good to go ✨
📦 Shipping & Returns
We recommend using India Post, as it’s the most economical and sustainable shipping service 🌿
Once we receive your clothes, they can’t be returned (not feasible operationally).
