Thrift for everyone

Thrift for everyone

I started Prelo with a simple idea: thrifted fashion shouldn’t be a privilege—it should be for everyone. Today, thrifting often feels exclusive—curated, expensive, and leaving behind so many clothes that still have life in them. At Prelo, we are trying to do things differently. We source clothes in bulk, not just to keep prices low but to ensure every piece has a shot at finding a new home. Fashion should never be out of reach, and thrift should be more than vintage or rare finds. It should be a practical, stylish, and sustainable way to shop for everyone.

Prelo isn’t just about selling clothes—it’s about creating order in an unorganized space, making thrift more affordable, accessible, and inclusive. If we can make second-hand fashion more approachable, I believe we can begin to shift the balance in people’s wardrobes—reducing the reliance on new clothes and increasing the share of thrifted ones. This small change can make a big difference in making fashion more sustainable and positively impacting the environment.

The fashion industry is responsible for approximately 10% of global carbon emissions and 20% of wastewater. By embracing second-hand clothing, we can reduce the demand for new garment production, which significantly contributes to these environmental issues. Together, we can make fashion more than just trends—we can make it kind.
